project showcase Lot 10, Gallagher Road

The Patio privacy wall had settled approximately 6 inches on the north end. The privacy wall was constructed on a typical concrete foundation placed on compacted fill.
Water from over irrigation caused the fill material to saturate and subsequent settling of the foundation resulted.
Team Foundation Systems hand excavated at the north end of the wall, down to the footing. This resulted in minimal disruption to the homeowners landscaping.
A Chance helical screw pile with 6" and 8" helices was hydraulically screwed into the native soils until refusal.
A foundation bracket was positioned beneath the footing and attached to the pile, with a small hydraulic jack providing the lift required to raise the wall back to a level position.
The bracket was capped off and the excavation backfilled.
